AFFIDAVIT

STATE OF OHIO

HANCOCK COUNTY

The Affiant being first duly cautioned and sworn states the following to be true statements of fact on pain of perjury.

I, Nona Booze, lived at 131 ½ N. Main Street, Apartment #7, Findlay, Ohio. Deb Young lived right across the hall, in apartment #8. Deb and I were good friends at this time. We would go down to the Party Bar, or go to my apartment, or her apartment, and have "Girl Talk".

One day, when I came home from work, Deb was in the Party Bar. She was upset, because she had to go to court, to testify in a murder trial. (John Spirko Trial). She also said that her brother, John Willier, was in trouble, and that she, and John, had to go to court. Deb asked me to help her choose appropriate clothing for her to wear to court.

The next day, there was a note attached to my door. The note stated that Deb Young wanted to talk to me, at the "Party Bar". I went to the Party Bar, to see what was wrong.

Deb Young told me that she met "A NEW OLD MAN", and that his name was RALPH EVERSOLE. Deb told me that she and Ralph, had known each other previously, but, they had not seen each other for several years. She told me how court had gone, that day.

Deb said that Ralph was going to call her that evening, at (approx.) 6:00 PM, or 7:00 PM.

At (approx) 6:10 PM, that evening, Deb received a long distance telephone call. She told me that Ralph had called and that they had talked about what had happened in court that day.

Deb Young also told me that Ralph would call every evening, around 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and that she would be in the bar, to wait for his call.

A day, or two, later Deb came into the bar, very upset. She said that her brother, John Willier, had left a note, which stated that he was going to kill himself. Deb asked me to drive her around the area in an attempt to locate John. Deb said that the police had been notified and that they (Findlay, OH. P.D.) were searching for her brother. We traveled to the home of John's girlfriend, Susan Stewart. Susan joined us, in the search, which lasted for approximately 2 hours.

We then returned to the Party Bar, because Deb Young was expecting a telephone call, from Ralph,

And she didn't want to miss it. Deb told Ralph about the note that John Willier had left. Deb later told me that Ralph advised her, that she, and the Willier family, should put John into a Toledo hospital. According to Deb Young, Ralph also advised "That way HE (John Willier) couldn't hurt himself or anyone else". "Also, if you put him in Toledo, they can't bring him to Van Wert, to testify".

A day or two later Deb told me that John had "Taken an axe to her father's automobile". According to Deb, the Willier's were considering Ralph's Advice.

Every day Deb Young went to the Party Bar, and Ralph would telephone her at that location at (Approx) 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, "Like clockwork". Deb said that Ralph would tell her about what had taken place, in court, that day, and would voice his opinion in regards to how he thought the trial was going.

One evening, after talking with Ralph, on the telephone, Deb related that Ralph had assured her that he would make sure that John (Willier) wouldn't have to serve any time. I asked Deb, she stated "Ralph has his ways". Deb also related that I should not worry, that "Ralph would take good care of her, and her brother, John."

One evening, Deb said that Ralph was coming into town, from Van Wert, and that he was taking her to the Imperial House. (Findlay). She asked me to help get ready for this occassion.

After getting ready, Deb went down to the Party Bar, where a man she said was Ralph, picked her up, and took her out. That night, when they returned, Deb Young, and this man that she called Ralph, retired to her apartment.

The next day Deb told me that she and Ralph had gone out to supper, before returning to her apartment for the night.

Deb Young told me that Ralph had stayed with her all night and that "Ralph was a great lover".

The day the trial ended, Ralph telephoned Deb and told her how the trial had gone.

Street talk is that John Willier and a guy named "Greg" murdered that woman, and that the wong man is serving time.
