Latham,. do hearby declare as follows: I am presently employed as an investigator for the Office of the Wyandot County Prosecuting Attorney. I have been employed as an Investigator for the Office of The Prosecuting Attorney since 1990. This declaration concerns John Edwin Willier and the statements he made to me with respect to the kidnapping and murder of Betty Jane Mottinger in 1982. This declaration, except where noted, is based on my personal knowledge. If called to testify under oath at a trial or other court proceeding, I would swear to or affirm the matters set forth in this declaration. I first became familair with Mr. Willier in 1992, when Sharon Boes filed a complaint with the Wyandot County Sheriff. Ms. Boes accused Mr. Willier of sexually assaulting her on October 13, 1992. I participated in interviewing Ms. Boes concerning her complaint. Ultimately, Ms. Boes decided not to proceed with her complaint, and no J.A. 0484 SUPP.
